Brock Roberts is a director and lyric tenor from Ohio, USA. His directing credits include Carmen for Edinburgh Studio Opera and co-directing a Baroque double bill at Birmingham Conservatoire working with Michael Barry on John Blow's Venus and Adonis and Charpentier's Actéon. His other credits include a semi-staged concert of Carmen at the Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod as well as the youth opera production of Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld at the Teatru Manoel in Malta. Brock returned to Llangollen to assist, director Amy Lane, on the festival's semi-staged production of Tosca with Kristine Opolais, Kristian Benedikt and Sir Bryn Terfel and directed a new work, To Himself, Alone, at the Tête à Tête Festival in London, UK. 2018 sees him directing Into the Woods for the UWTSD's BA Perfformio in Cardiff and Carmarthen as well as assistant director for Phantom of the Opera with the G&S Society of SA and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg Act III with the State Opera of South Australia.
