Brock Roberts is a director and lyric tenor from Ohio, USA. His directing credits include Carmen for Edinburgh Studio Opera and co-directing a Baroque double bill at Birmingham Conservatoire working with Michael Barry on John Blow's Venus and Adonis and Charpentier's Actéon. His other credits include directing a semi-staged concert of Carmen at the Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod with Kate Aldrich and Noah Stewart as well as the Teatru Manoel Youth Opera production of Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld at the Teatru Manoel in Malta. Brock returned to Llangollen as AD with director Amy Lane on the festival's production of Tosca with Kristine Opolais, Kristian Benedikt and Sir Bryn Terfel and directed a new work, To Himself, Alone, at the Tête à Tête Festival in London, UK. 2018 sees him directing Into the Woods for the UWTSD's BA Perfformio in Cardiff and Carmarthen as well as AD for Phantom of the Opera with the G&S Society of SA and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg Act III with the State Opera of South Australia.
